What to Expect

Expect cool, often overcast weather even in summer, generally 8-15°C (46-59°F), so warm layers, a waterproof jacket and sturdy walking shoes are essential. Wildlife sightings - whales, sea otters and bald eagles - are common from the open decks during the Inside Passage scenic cruising days, so binoculars are worth packing. Dress is casual throughout, with no formal nights on this itinerary. Canadian Dollar and US Dollar are both accepted at the two ports, and English is the primary language.
